Job Description:
As part of the greater Space and Airborne Systems (SAS) Segment Financial Planning and Analysis Systems team, the SAS Cobra team is responsible for leading the implementation and support of Cobra across the SAS segment. This includes user support, training, administration, and support of upstream and downstream systems using Cobra data. The position interfaces regularly with key Finance and Program Management Excellence (PMX) stakeholders, in addition to individuals at all levels of the organization. You will have the opportunity to take part in a highly visible, mission-critical initiative while providing leadership and guidance to other Finance professionals.
- Lead the development of training, tools, and templates.
- Serve as a go-to resource for program financial analysts (PFA’s) in the use of Cobra.
- Guide and direct experienced professionals within Cobra team.
- Drive process improvements and seek to find timely root cause of potential issues.
- Understand the flow and interaction of data from PeopleSoft to Cobra to PMX tools and reports.
- Proactively improve internal administrative processes and procedures, including rate table updates, actuals processing, and user interfaces; proactively look to automate processes where possible.
- Collaborate with Segment and Corporate teams looking to standardize processes across the enterprise.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance or Information Technology with Nine (9) plus years of directly, applicable experience or the equivalent combination of education and experience. Master’s degree with Seven (7) plus years’ experience; or equivalent.
- Four (4) or more years with Cobra, MPM, and Peoplesoft & Queries. PowerBI experience a plus.
Preferred Additional Skills:
- Six (6) years or more years experience with Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint. Excel knowledge including but not limited to pivot tables, lookups, relational formulas, and query usage. Macro usage and development a plus.
- Strong communication skills (Oral, Written, Listening).
- Self-motivated and strong interpersonal skills, including the ability to work with people of all levels within the organization.
- Demonstrated ability to proactively solve problems and issues in a timely manner with minimal supervision.
- Demonstrated ability to operate effectively in a dynamic, team environment.
- TS/SCI security clearance or ability to obtain one.
