Job Description:
Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented Modeling and Simulation Engineer - Basic to join our team! In this role you will get to work with an outstanding team of professionals providing Wargames and Exercises modeling and simulations in support of the Department of Defense Geographic Combatant Commands.
What You'll Be Doing:
- Execute engineering tasks associated with supporting Combatant Command (CCMD) exercises with designing, building, and running modeling and simulations of ballistic missile defense systems and ballistic missile threats.
- Execute planning, configuring, monitoring, and implementation of Missile Defense System (MDS) parameters into simulation software such as MDASIM and EADSIM to support distributed virtual and constructive exercises
- Conduct System Engineering Integration and Test (SEI&T) element pre-test coordination, event execution, pre and post mission testing.
- Configure and conduct on-console support on designated modeling and simulation workstations that support CCMD and MDA MDS exercises.
- Assist with identifying risks and developing mitigation strategies.
What Required Skills You'll Bring:
- BS in an engineering field or STEM related field. No direct experience required.
- Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret (or higher) Security Clearance
- Software development experience desired
- Ability to configure and operate Windows and LINUX workstations
What Desired Skills You'll Bring:
- Ability to support domestic and international travel
- Must be a self-starter, able to multitask in a dynamic, fast-paced environment
- Familiarity with MDASIM, OSM, EADSIM and other modeling and simulation software

Salary Range:
