Job Description:
Parsons is now hiring a Field Technician with a desire to work in a support role alongside the Project Manager on various environmental construction projects that would be located throughout Los Angeles, CA.Responsibilities:
- Performs non routine and occasionally heavy labor tasks related to onsite industrial waste, hazardous waste, field environmental surveys or operation and maintenance of wastewater treatment facilities.
- Collects samples and maintains documentation in record logs.
- Operates trucks, pumps, vacuum equipment, oil booms, generators, and other machinery/equipment.
- Establishes and maintains appropriate logs of activities.
- Tests, calibrates, repairs, and modifies control and instrumentation systems at onsite locations.
- Many assignments are completed independently.
- Gives leadership and guidance to lower level Technicians assigned to the same unit.
- Prepares periodic or one of a kind reports of various activities and findings.
- May initiate reports and/or establish and maintain logs and records.
- Reports may be for individual activity or summary of group activities.
- Performs other responsibilities associated with this position as may be appropriate.
Qualifications:Associate's degree in a related field and 4+ years of experienceCompletion of a 40 hour OSHA training course is nice to haveAppropriate operator certification may also be required.Proficiency in performing Technician assignments and responsibilities, as well as tasks and testing techniques related to operations.

Salary Range:
