The Alaka`ina Foundation Family of Companies (FOC) is looking for a qualified Range Contractor Coordinator to support our contract with Pacific Missile Range Facility Koa Lani, Kekaha, Hawai'i.
Performs the operational planning, real- time coordination, and follow-up activities on assigned Range operations. Coordinates the Koa Lani operational support efforts to meet operational requirements in a safe, efficient, and reliable manner.
DESCRIPTION OF RESPONSIBILITIES:
Keeps abreast of changes in PMRF Range Operations forecasts to identify future requirements and scheduling conflicts
Interfaces with Government counterparts and other Koa Lani elements to ensure mutual awareness of operational requirements
Attends and participates in briefings, planning conferences, and meetings to gather operational requirements for assigned programs
Prepares and distributes Instrumentation Plans (IP) to identify operational set-up for instrumentation and support systems and all data requirements for the assigned operation
Coordinates and documents real-time efforts of operational support personnel IAW the published IP and technical direction from Government counterparts
Prepares and submits Contract Data Requirements (CDR) for assigned operations
Coordinates the distribution of data products gathered during assigned operations
Participates in post-operational critiques and reviews
Maintains working knowledge of operational support systems and facilities to coordinate detailed scheduling and support requirements
Performs ICC tasks when required
Must be able to travel interisland and out of state
Performs other duties as assigned by Supervisor.
Office conditions are varied and includes physical tasks including lifting, pushing or pulling between 1 and 10 pounds. Physical positions will include but not be limited to walking, sitting or standing for extended periods of time, crawling, kneeling, stooping or cramped working places and work requiring repeated or frequent climbing. Environment will include customer contact, extended workdays, an office laboratory environment in a confined work area.
DEGREE/EDUCATION/CERTIFICATION REQUIREMENT:
High school graduate or equivalent six plus (+6) years' experience coordinating military exercises
OR Bachelor's degree plus two (+2) years' experience
REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:
Knowledge of operational support systems and facilities to coordinate range schedules
Must possess the following PC skills: Excel, Outlook, Power Point, Windows, & Word.
REQUIRED CITIZENSHIP AND CLEARANCE:
Must be a U.S. Citizen
Secret clearance is required. (Applicants selected either must currently possess a Secret clearance or will be subject to a Government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements to obtain clearance prior to commencement of employment and maintain a security clearance for access to classified information or Closed/Restricted Areas throughout duration of employment.)
