Amentum has an opportunity for a highly qualified Knowledge Manager to enhance information sharing and decision-making processes in the cyber operations arena. The team member will develop cohesive tools, processes, and repositories to capture and distribute information from departments and function throughout the organization to facilitate easy access, sharing, and dissemination. The ideal candidate will also train and educate internal users of the knowledge management tools.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Provide expertise in supporting knowledge management systems, including Confluence, SharePoint, and Share Folders
Collaborate with administrative officers and members to manage JFHQ-C (Navy) Battle Rhythm, Collaboration, and Coordination Working Groups (B2C2WGs) across NIPR, SIPR, and NSANet digital interfaces
Oversee data management, archiving, updating, tracking, processing, and forward-facing functions for JFHQ-C FWD and FCC PAC requirements.
Manage and organize a variety of documents within KM systems, including TASKORDs, FRAGORDs, DEPORDs, OPORDs, GENADMIN messages, CONOPs, Information Papers, White Papers, and other senior leader deliverables.
Draft, develop, capture, and record Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for KM best practices and business rules within JFHQ-C.
Ensure compliance with actions involving higher headquarters, general support Command relationships, CCMDs, external agencies, and DoD partners
Minimum Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Information Management, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, Data Science, or related field.
Minimum of 3 years of experience as knowledge management specialist
Knowledge of computer networking concepts and protocols, security methodologies, and risk management processes
Active Top-Secret Clearance with SCI eligibility and current CI Polygraph. Note: US Citizenship is required to obtain a Top-Secret Clearance.
Preferred Qualifications:
Master's degree in Information Management, Knowledge Management, or related fields.
6+ years experience as knowledge/information manager
Certification in Knowledge Management or Information Management.
Experience with knowledge management tools and systems within defense or military operations.
The salary range for this position is $130K to $150K. (Salary to be determined by the education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities of the applicant internal equity, and alignment with market data.)
