Northrop Grumman Defense Systems (NGDS) sector is seeking an Earned Value Management Analyst (EVM) to support the Advanced Anti-Radiation Guided Missile-Extended Range Engineering Manufacturing & Development ( AARGM-ER EMD) program within our NG Business Management organization on site in Northridge, CA. Northrop Grumman's AARGM is a supersonic, air-launched tactical missile system. It has the capability to perform Destruction of Enemy Air Defense missions and is an upgrade to the U.S. Navy AGM-88 HARM system. AARGM is able to rapidly engage traditional and advanced land- and sea-based air defense threats, as well as non-radar, time-sensitive strike targets. Northrop Grumman's potential material solution to the U.S. Navy's AARGM Extended Range requirement utilizes existing AARGM sensors, electronics and warhead.
As a EVM Analyst, they will collaborate within a team setting and operate under general guidance while supporting the Program Management Office (PMO) and Control Account Managers (CAMs) in planning, implementing, and monitoring Earned Value Management Systems processes. They will analyze data, create financial reports, address issues, report on program finances, and provide recommendations to the program management office, customers, and internal senior leadership. Acting as the liaison between program finance and the program office, the EVM Analyst will handle financial analysis matters, project financial status, and offer daily support for assigned programs, contracts, and subcontract financial affairs. Additionally, the EVM Analyst will be accountable for preparing and submitting internal and customer reports, which include EVMS metrics, variance drivers, monthly program forecasts, reviews, Estimate at Complete (EAC), Estimate To Complete (ETC), as well as internal Sales, Operating Margin (OM), Cash, and backlog forecasts.
This role will be on-site at our Northridge, CA facility and r elo cation assistance is also available.
Roles and responsibilities may include but are not limited to the following:
Assists with the maintenance of an Earned Value Management (EVM) baseline that interfaces with an MS Project schedule
Works with Program Management, IPTs, CAMs, and functional business analysts to perform detailed cost/schedule planning, Earned Value variance analysis, identification of cost/schedule problems, and developing corrective action plans.
Timely and accurate Estimate at Completion development, analysis, and reporting
Financial reporting to include creating of AOP and monthly financial forecasts, cash flow and material forecasts, and invoiced/unbilled analysis.
Performs financial analyses such as funding profiles, Sales & OM outlook, and variance analysis
Interface with program and functional management to provide financial support and analysis to meet program requirements.
Assists in preparing for internal and external audits and/or compliance reviews

Basic Qualifications Earned Value Management Analyst (Level 2):
Bachelor's degree and 3 years' experience or a Master's degree with 1 year experience or a High School diploma / Equivalent with 7 years' experience may be considered in Lieu of degree
Program cost control experience, to including Earned Value Management
Working knowledge of Earned Value Management principles and EVMS software (Deltek Cobra/MPM)
Financial analysis and/or reporting experience
Knowledge of FAR/DFARS
Proficient in Microsoft Office applications
Skilled in preparing and analyzing data
Ability to obtain and maintain an Active U.S. Department of Defense (DoD) Secret security clearance
Preferred Qualifications:
3+ years' experience with Earned Value Management and/or EVMS Software
U.S. Federal Government contracting regulations experience - to include working knowledge of FAR/DFARS
Active DoD Secret security clearance
Basic Qualifications: Earned Value Management Analyst (Level 3):
This position emphasizes skills and experience. Will consider one of following: Bachelor's degree and 6 years' experience or a Master's degree with 4-year experience or a High School diploma / Equivalent with 10 years' experience may be considered in Lieu of degree

Salary Range: $72,100 - $108,100
Salary Range 2: $88,700 - $133,100
The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.
Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
