The Aircraft Maintenance Manager (E-2D Preferred) will direct, manage, coordinate, and monitor all maintenance/material actions necessary to retain or restore aircraft, material, equipment, or components to a serviceable condition with a minimum expenditure of resources in the most efficient practical manner. Shall be responsible for supervising the day-to-day maintenance task and has the authority to direct the work centers and personnel to accomplish all maintenance actions as required to accomplish the mission.

The Aircraft Maintenance Manager shall have an in-depth working knowledge of the CNAFINST 4790.2 and NAVINST 3710.1 Series and all applicable T/M/S technical publications which apply to their applicable T/M/S specific aircraft.
Have a working knowledge of the Special Projects/Flight Clearances/Interim Flight Clearances which are applicable to their assigned T/M/S aircraft.
Must have a working knowledge of the Aircraft Modification Instruction (VX-30/31INST 13050/1 Series) process.
The Aircraft Maintenance Manager will be required to "Release Aircraft Safe for Flight".
Monitor maintenance SCIR documentation via the OOMA NALCOMIS system.
Review Aircraft Weight and Balance forms for accuracy, direct scheduled/unscheduled maintenance actions to meet operational tasking identified by the government/flight schedule.
Brief aircrew prior to Functional Check Flights (FCF), review aircrew documentation of aircraft FCF performance.
Request cannibalization authorization from APT when required.
Coordinate Depot Level Inspection/Repair actions, assign workload priorities, manage awaiting maintenance and material status.
Manage T/M/S Aircraft configuration, screen, maintain and sign Aeronautical Equipment Service Records, Aircraft Logbooks.
Liaison with Quality Assurance, liaison with Projects Coordinator, understand Navy Working Capital Fund concept, notify Govt. Oversight QARs of all Flight Critical, Safety of Flight, and mandatory QA inspections.
Monitor high time components, establish supply priorities, and coordinate work center maintenance tasking to meet daily Flight Schedule and Ground Test Requirements.
Responsible for maintaining equipment maintenance schedules on all company assets and monitoring parts and supply inventories.
Provide employees with proper training on company equipment as required by OSHA Regulations and monitors annual training requirements.
Provide guidance and instruction to team members concerning technical orders, checklists, and hazardous materials.
May conduct flight line and hangar foreign object damage prevention walks and housekeeping.
May meet with Customers and Company Senior Leadership as required.
Assist other shops/skills as required.
Capability of establishing liaison and coordinating with associated Navy activities.
Comprehensive knowledge of high-performance aircraft maintenance and supply, including jet engines, airframes, installed systems, production control, maintenance data collection and Navy Technical Directive Compliance (TDC)
Familiarity with Navy procedures and directives.
Shall be capable of establishing liaison and coordinating with associated Navy and other activities
Working knowledge of OSHA and company requirements.
Knowledge of safe working techniques and procedures.
Ability to pass a government Secret Security Background Check.
Previous supervisory experience preferred.
Possess an extensive background in the field of aircraft maintenance and material support (E-2D preferred) with a minimum of 10 years of experience with 8 years of the last 10 years in direct aircraft maintenance repair, inspection, and modification.
Previous experience with Microsoft Office - Word, Excel, Project, PowerPoint.
High School graduate or equivalent required.
Shall have Maintenance Material Control Management or the equivalent (2 years as a Naval Maintenance Control Chief/Leading Petty Officer/Staff Non-Commissioned Officer billet with supporting USN/USMC/United States Coast Guard (USCG) documentation).
Preferred qualifications
Bachelor's degree in an associated discipline is highly preferred.
Travel as required.
Compensation & Benefits HIRING SALARY RANGE: $107,000.00 - $115,000.00, (Salary to be determined by the education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities of the applicant internal equity, and alignment with market data.)
