We are seeking a Cloud Systems Engineer to directly support our customer. In this role, you will provide engineering and/or scientific solutions for highly complex technical software and cloud applications. You will provide systems architecture design services on aspects of networks, software architectures, software interfaces, and data flow architectures for a cloud data mesh application. You will provide engineering support to execution of software and cloud projects across the lifecycle, from planning through implementation, to include integration of various systems and services using APIs and cloud-native technologies. You will develop, plan, coordinate, and integrate systems-related requirements to support operational needs of the cloud data mesh and p lan for scalability to accommodate future growth and implement measures to scale systems efficiently . You will o ffer recommendations on transforming business solutions to utilize cloud services effectively . You will use your effective communication skills to collaborate with customers, and cross-functional teams, document technical processes, and present solutions to stakeholders. You will prepare management plans and reports of current status and provide recommendations to customers and stakeholders.
Required
BS or BA degree
5+ years of prior relevant experience
SQL Server / SQL Server as a Service experience
Demonstrates familiarity with or expertise in one or more Cloud Service Providers to include AWS, Azure, Gitlab, and/or VMWare experience
Must have an in-scope DoD Security Clearance
Desired
Experience with the Unified Data Reference Architecture (UDRA)
Experience handling classified data
Understand principles of DevSecOps
Experience with CI/CD pipelines
Familiar with requirements management tools
