What You Will Do
As the Associate Director - National Security Investigative Services the duties would include but not limited to the following:
Manage and oversee the administrative and daily operations of the program.
Serve as overall program lead and as the principal liaison between the Government and the Contractor.
Attend regular meetings with Government customers to discuss workload, contract performance, and emergent issues.
Assure quality control implementation.
Produce required contractual and programmatic reports and briefs.
Implement and exercise quality - control measures over Contractor staff to deliver services and products on budget and schedule per SOW requirements.
Be responsible for overall project personnel, delivery of reports, and other deliverables.
Implement short (tactical) and long term (strategic) work plans to ensure work performance.
Be responsible for formulating and enforcing work standards.
Coordinate with Government customer for assignment of work schedules.
Review and remediate work discrepancies.
Supervise Contractor personnel, communicate policies and organizational goals.
Responsible for ensuring all incoming contractors are adequately trained for contract positions.
Be responsible for contract performance.
Be responsible for tracking all in - coming Contractor personnel and weekly reports to Government customers of status and processing issues.
What You Will Need *: *
Must have a current TS security clearance and must be capable of obtaining SCI access that includes a requirement to pass a security CI polygraph exam.
A Bacelor's degree is required.
Must have knowledge of security office's discipline, project management and demonstrated capability to manage multiple tasks / projects.
EIGHT (8) years in a specialty related to personnel security being managed which includes scheduling and supervising project personnel.
Must have TEN (10) plus years of federal, state, local or military law enforcement experience or FIFTEEN (15) years of experience managing tasks and supervising people to include experience in human resources and personnel security.
At least FIVE( 5) years of experience over the past TEN 10) years (TWO (2) years of experience within the last FOUR (4) years) directly managing federal support in a client facing organization
Prior experience managing all aspects of a full scope background investigation program.
Experience with EO 12960 and 12968, SEAD 4 and SEAD 7.
Experience as a functional practitioner of Continuous Vetting and Trusted Workforce 2.0, or programs similar in scope and scale
