Job Summary
Responsible for customer support and technician support for life cycle of service calls and Small Business and residential jobs.
Prerequisites
The Service & Technical Support coordinator has access to client information. As such, character traits of honesty and trustworthiness are essential to this position and must be displayed at all times. Per company policy, potential employees must pass appropriate security clearances and drug testing.
High School Diploma or GED
Valid Driver's License and Proof of Auto Insurance.
Direct customer contact experience preferred.
Professionalism must be displayed at all times.
Experience with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
An understanding of technical logistics and trouble is a bonus.
Strong organizational and multitasking skills
Good written and verbal communication skills

Specific Responsibilities
Answer phone for customer service issues and request
Maintain Schedule for service calls
Maintain Schedule for Small Business & Residential Installations
Coordinate with Admin and Ops on material availability and logistics.
Create Central station account profiles for technicians
Be a resource for technicians in the field to verify signals, remote connections, etc..
Preprogram alarm systems, surveillance systems, and other systems to allow for an effective and trouble free installation when the technician is on site.
Communicate with customers on installation/service dates and with periodic updates
Partner with Operations regarding policy, procedure, and initiatives
Review data for accuracy
Maintain filing procedures and accurately follow Standard Operating Procedures for all job tasks.
Data entry in Sedona Office, Alarm.com, and other DSI Software's
Must have strong communication skills and be willing to learn.
Job awareness and ability to make decisions in real-time.
Contribute to team effort by accomplishing related results.
Having a good understanding and following DSI's Code of Ethics and Employee Standard
Present oneself in a professional manner through appearance and conduct
Develop a working knowledge and leadership role in customer service initiative.
Assist ES Mgr. in projects to advance DSI ES in performance, efficiency, and profitability.
Promote company values by providing exceptional customer service
Take all necessary steps to maintain customer satisfaction of DSI Security Services and quickly resolve customer complaints
Maintain positive work atmosphere by interacting with DSI Security Services internal/external customers (including, but not limited to, current customers, clients, vendors, co-workers, supervisors, and management) in a mutually respectful manner.
Adhere to the highest standards of ethical business conduct and compliance by acting lawfully, ethically, honestly, and professionally in the performance of their jobs at all times, as well as be in compliance with company policy and procedures as it relates to their job function
Ability to develop, maintain, and leave a clean and safe work space/site on a daily basis.
Thoroughly familiar with the DSI Employee Handbook. Adheres to all work rules, procedures and policies established by the company, including, but not limited to, those contained in the Employee Handbook.
