HOW AN ELECTRONICS TECHNICIAN MAINTENANCE III WILL MAKE AN IMPACT
? Position is to provide maintenance and field service support to intelligence systems that enable tactical communications in a combat or field environment.
? Performs maintenance operations support including screening and repairing electronic equipment; installing software in electronic equipment; and, installation and de-installation of electronic equipment on vehicles, ground stations, and aerial vehicles.
? Perform maintenance and repair services including, but not limited to, fault diagnosis, removal and replacement of line replaceable units (LRUs), Preventative Maintenance Checks and Services (PMCS), screening, repair, overhaul, refurbishment, retrograde, installation of systems, customer support, calibration, and alignment for all C5ISR systems and associated support equipment.
WHAT YOU'LL NEED TO SUCCEED:
? Education: BABS Degree (will consider other combinations of years of experience and education/certifications in lieu of a degree)
? Required Experience: 3+ years of related experience
? Security Clearance Level: Top Secret or must be able to obtain Top Secret
? Required Skills and Abilities: Have the ability to read, interpret, and modify Cisco Switch and Router configurations. Understand signal flow with the ability to diagnose faults at the different OSI layers. Understand satellite communications systems along with the different devices that enable throughput. Operate and troubleshoot various Line Replaceable Units (LRUs) included in the family of intelligence systems. Familiar with the operation and basic repair of power generation units that operate with supported systems. Understand the operation and repair of antenna control units.

The likely hourly rate for this position is between $33.44 - $45.24. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.
