Job Description:
As the Director Program Management on the Armed Overwatch production component of the program, you'll ensure the production team is working closely with the development team to understand production requirements to ensure the production teams can meet required builds within budget and on time. The Director PM will manage subordinate program managers at various sites and closely coordinate with Operations leaders to ensure staffing, quality, and key program metrics are being achieved.
Essential Functions:
Directs all phases of programs and drive execution to achieve business and financial objectives for orders, revenue, operating income and free cash flow
Responsible for cost, schedule and technical performance of assigned program(s)
Establishes strategy for negotiation of contract and contract changes
Acts as primary customer contact for aligned scope
Establishes milestones and monitors adherence to master plans and schedules
Identifies obstacles to the program and develops solutions
Able to obtain and maintain a DoD Security Clearance.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree with a minimum of 15 years of prior related experience.
Graduate Degree with a minimum of 13 years of prior related experience.
In lieu of a degree, minimum of 19 years of prior related experience.
Experience managing large and complex aircraft production programs under Earned Value Management System
Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal.
Able to travel up to 30%
Must be a US Citizen with ability to obtain and maintain a DoD Security Clearance
