Electronic Combat Solutions (ECS) has technology, engineering and program teams that educate and mentor colleagues to deliver leading Electronic Warfare capabilities. The Advanced Electronic Warfare Systems (AEWS) Product line is looking for a Program Manager lead a critical Electronic Warfare software development program. This program is chartered with defining and developing the requirements for future EW systems.
A successful candidate manages, coordinates, plans, organizes, controls, integrates, and executes the project. They ensure achievement of financial, schedule, technical, and new business performance objectives. Participates in the support of new business and in the development of financial plans for the company. Models and demonstrates strong leadership in ethics, safety and security.
Responsibilities include:
Engaging directly with the government customer and other industry partners, aligning program activities with ECS business priorities
Represent BAE Systems and our program teams to wide ranging external stakeholders and customers
Leading new business growth campaign to increase our program impact and footprint
Lead a cross functional team in defining the future of how BAE Systems monetizes software
Briefing BAE Systems leadership on strategic program updates and decisions
Coordinate with functions, other Business Areas and sectors to establish successful business rhythm
This role will report directly to the Program Area Director, within the ECS Advanced Electronic Warfare Solutions (AEWS) product line and is based in Nashua, New Hampshire. Because this program is classified, it is a full-time on-site role.
Required Education, Experience, & Skills
Required skills
Experience leading programs through Agile Programs management
Experience with life cycle management
Self-starting individual with strong problem-solving abilities, capable of leveraging a wide range of resources to identify solutions to complex problems
Ability to lead cross functional teams (ie Engineering, Finance, Operations, etc.) in the execution of complex technical tasks
Experience in new business capture, such as proposal writing and internal review processes
Actively manage customer relationships to maintain a win-win of program execution and future business
Preferred Education, Experience, & Skills
Proven Experience working across sectors and business areas creating measurable new business opportunities
Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification or equivalent certification
Experience leading Software develop programs
Working knowledge developing proposals for new business pursuits
Experience and knowledge of R&D programs to transition to the larger EW business
Pay Information
Full-Time Salary Range: $140690 - $239140
Please note: This range is based on our market pay structures. However, individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to: business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience.
