Job Description:
Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented Fiber Quality Inspector to join our team! In this role you will get to be responsible for the direction, administration, monitoring, and coordination of the Project Quality Plan for the Radio & Cellular Infrastructure Replacement Project. This person will assist the Quality Manager and Task Manager in the planning, development, and controlling of major quality aspects of the construction of the underground Distributed Antenna System and provide oversight over the various contractor’s work as it relates to the contractor’s quality programs and ensures that construction and quality standards are upheld. The position requires regularly working day/afternoon/evening and night hours including weekends and holidays on a rotating basis.
This position requires a significant amount of time spent in the field working at active construction sites and is on‐call on a 24/7 basis.
What You'll Be Doing:
- Conduct regular on‐site fiber quality inspections for all work performed by Project personnel, Contractors and Sub‐Contractors to ensure compliance with all contractual requirements;
- Provide oversight of the Project Quality Plan
- Monitor Construction Key Performance Indices for all aspects of the Radio & Cellular Infrastructure Replacement Project; Monitor Quality Key Performance Indices for all aspects of the Radio & Cellular Infrastructure Replacement Project;
- Maintain and monitor the performance of the project against the KPIs established for both the Project Work and the Project Quality Plan and provide reports to the Quality Manager as required;
- Oversee project related quality concepts and recommend solutions to the project teams and contractors;
- Review hazard analyses by staff, contractor work plans, complete of project work and associated work and quality reports, and other tasks as assigned by the Quality Manager;
- Work constructively with members of the project team to resolve project quality related issues; Provide recommendations to key staff members;
- Attend or conduct project coordination meetings and quality meetings with each discipline involved as needed to ensure effective project control;
- Prepare project‐related correspondence to consultants, contractors, Authority officials, and other agencies;
- Complete a daily work report that outlines the work completed for the day;
- Complete other tasks assigned by the Quality Manager.
What Required Skills You'll Bring:
- A minimum of a bachelor’s degree in environmental sciences, or related field plus a minimum 4 years demonstrable experience in system safety and/or construction safety
- Typically 8+ year's of experience in quality
- Knowledge of ISO 9000 quality standards and its application to planning, design, and construction;
- Must be able to work nights and weekends, including holidays;
- Must be able to pass a Government background check;
- Must be able to work in confined spaces;
- Ability to obtain OSHA‐10 Construction certification;
- Must have reliable transportation and must possess a valid motor vehicle operator’s license; and
- May be required to travel out‐of‐state to conduct manufacturer inspections of facilities and witness any factory acceptance testing as required by the Quality Manager.

Salary Range:
