Nightwing is seeking a highly motivated and mature Field Engineer be an essential contributor to a customer essential program-based Sterling, VA. The Field Engineer must possess a broad range of skills and tenured experience to support this OCONUS position. This is a full time OCONUS position. Field Engineer’s responsibilities will include, but are not limited to, the following: Work and live full-time at an OCONUS site as part of the Nightwing Operations and Maintenance (O&M) team Rotational travel every 4-5 months throughout the year Coordinate and collaborate with the entire site’s O&M team to service a wide-range of building issues Provide O&M, modifications, and status/metrics reporting for mechanical and electrical systems throughout the OCONUS facility Maintain as-built designs, ensuring all site changes are recorded and documented properly Analyze data from site monitoring systems to support expansion and improve efficiencies CLEARANCE: Top Secret with CI Polygraph (must be willing to upgrade) Required Skills: 4+ years of relevant hands-on experience with two or more of the following: Install and maintain diverse electrical or heating, ventilation and air conditioning systems Install wires, conduits, and pipes to complete facility infrastructure Perform general and preventative maintenance on electrical or HVAC systems Ensure that set standards are adhered to for all installations Read and interpret construction documents, wire identification and tagging, bending long radius conduit Perform pre-startup maintenance on motors, troubleshooting of control and lighting systems Experience working in a secure environment (SCIF) and understanding the regulations for maintaining accreditation Individually perform movement (lift and carry) 45lbs systems and must be capable of prolonged use of site equipment (e.g., hand tools, power tools, disintegrators, and degaussers) Familiarity with safety rules and first aid procedures Good communication skills and an ability to work closely with other professionals Minimum commitment of 2 year at site Must be US Citizen with current TS/SCI with CI Polygraph (must be willing to upgrade) Desired Skills: Familiar with building management systems; operating, monitoring; and the ability to program and modify program as needed; Crossed trained in multiple trades (electrical, plumbing, structural, etc.) Able to work in Dulles VA when not deployed for activities such as pre-deployment training and other requirements Required Education: High School or Technical School graduate and a minimum Journeyman license. The salary range for this role is 105,000 USD - 221,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.
