Software Engineer

This role is more than just coding. As a full stack developer at Booz Allen,

difficult challenges using the latest architectural approaches, tools, and
technologies. You'll help make sure the solution developed by the team
considers the architecture and operating environment, as well as future
functionality and enhancements.

You Have:
3+ years of experience with Java, C or C++, scripting, and in the
Linux environment
Experience with software factory tools such as GitLab, Nexus, Jira, and
Confluence
Experience configuring networks, including IP schemes and basic
troubleshooting
Ability to understand enterprise level systems
Ability to complete tasks, drive projects to closure, assimilate and
correlate project information in a fast-paced environment, and incorporate
them into coherent test strategies
Ability to shift from one project to another in an agile work environment
Ability to communicate technical approaches and details within small project
teams, including team interaction and presentations
Ability to capture technical approaches, designs, block diagrams,
algorithms, and implementations in written and graphical form
Top Secret clearance
Bachelor's degree in an Engineering or Science field such as CS
Nice If You Have:
6+ years of experience with programming
Experience with RF signals and signal processing
Experience with Python and Bash
Experience with troubleshooting using Wireshark and switch or router
configuration or maintenance
Knowledge of basic wireless communication and software defined radio
Ability to expand knowledge and skills
Ability to approach classical problems with new ideas and innovation
TS/SCI clearance
Master's degree in an Engineering or Science field such as CS
Clearance:
Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need
to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information; Top
Secret clearance is required.

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not
limited to location, the individual's particular combination of
education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well
as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The
projected compensation range for this position is $67,600.00 to
$154,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the
typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz
Allen's total compensation package for employees. This posting will close
