Our client has an immediate need for a C++ / Visual Studio Software Engineer for a variety of signal acquisition and engineering analysis applications. They need to have proven experience programming in C++ and usage of Microsoft Visual Studio. This position will be working on current software development projects. Individual with logistics experience is preferred.
Responsibilities:
Resolves problems with software and responds to suggestions for improvements and enhancements.
Participates in development of software applications.
Instructs, assigns, directs, and checks the work of other software developers on development team.
Acts as team leader on projects.
Will be using application programming interfaces using C++ programing and Microsoft Visual Studio.
Works as part of a team and provides 24x7 support when/if required.
Requirements:
Bachelor of Science in a related field, Information Technology, Engineering, Computer Programming, etc.
5-7 years" experience with strong technical knowledge of C++ and Microsoft Visual Studio.
Ability to deliver solutions that meet the identified acceptance criteria.
Excellent written and oral communication skills.
Security + Certification will be required, but if the candidate is willing and capable that"s not a requirement up front.
Ability to be hands-on in this role to develop professional documentation and other written materials.
Considerable experience in requirements analysis, testing, documentation
Must possess IT-II security clearance or have a current National Agency Check with Local Agency Check and Credit Check (NACLC) at time of proposal submission.
DoD Approved 8570 Baseline Certification: Category IATM Level II and relevant certification from a nationally recognized technical authority.
Ability to obtain and maintain a Security Clearance if one does not already exist.
Preferred experience in environments with rigorous change/configuration management processes
Logistics experience is preferred
