General Responsibilities
As a Software Developer, you will play a crucial role in supporting and maintaining our critical applications. Your responsibilities will include:
-Implementing and troubleshooting programming changes and modifications.
-Writing and maintaining programming logic and codes.
-Developing and providing clear technical instructions for program use and modifications.
-Collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure timely delivery of projects.
-Assisting in the identification and resolution of application issues to enhance performance and reliability.
-Documenting processes and solutions for future reference.
Performs duties through methods and actions that are consistently ethical and in total compliance with the laws, applicable regulations, Code of Ethics, corporate policies and guidelines and rules of conduct. Completes corporate trainings and certifications intended for the detection and prevention of money laundering related activities and fraud, insider training and conflict of interest policies and procedures, as applicable.
Education and Experience Required
-Bachelor's degree in Software Engineering, Software Development, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
-Minimum of two years of experience in software development with a focus on Java, JavaScript, SQL, and AWS.
-Proven experience in maintaining critical applications and implementing necessary updates.
Knowledge and Skills Required
-Intermediate knowledge of Java, JavaScript, SQL, and AWS.
-Familiarity with database management systems.
-Strong attention to detail and ability to make timely decisions.
-Excellent communication skills, fluent in both English and Spanish (written and oral).
-Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment, demonstrating a high sense of responsibility.
-Strong time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
-Willingness to learn new processes and technologies, with a results-driven mindset.
Additional Information
Monday to Friday from 9:00AM to 6:00PM
Available to work extended hours, weekends and/or holidays as needed and the availability to travel as required supporting projects in the region.
