General Responsibilities
As a Software Developer, you will play a vital role in supporting and maintaining our critical applications. Your key responsibilities will include:
-Developing two core applications.
-Administering and keeping the OutSystems platform up to date.
-Managing vulnerabilities and ensuring application security.
-Developing, testing, and deploying applications using the OutSystems low-code platform.
-Collaborating with cross-functional teams to define, design, and implement new features.
-Performing system administration tasks, including server management, configuration, and monitoring.
-Troubleshooting and resolving technical issues related to software and system performance.
-Ensuring the reliability and availability of IT infrastructure.
-Documenting processes, configurations, and procedures.
-Assisting the systems administrator in troubleshooting various situations and incidents across more than 30 applications and nearly 100 servers.
-Supporting upgrade projects for IaaS applications.
-Contributing to DRS exercises.
Performs duties through methods and actions that are consistently ethical and in total compliance with the laws, applicable regulations, Code of Ethics, corporate policies and guidelines and rules of conduct. Completes corporate trainings and certifications intended for the detection and prevention of money laundering related activities and fraud, insider training and conflict of interest policies and procedures, as applicable.
Education and Experience Required
-Bachelor's degree in Software Engineering, Software Development, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
-Minimum of two years of experience in open systems (Java, VB.net, C#, etc.).
Knowledge and Skills Required
-Solid understanding of basic programming concepts to effectively develop on the OutSystems low-code platform.
-Experience in software development using low-code platforms, along with system administration and troubleshooting skills.
-Familiarity with system administration tasks, including server management, configuration, and monitoring.
-Strong attention to detail with the ability to make timely decisions.
-Excellent communication skills, fluent in both written and spoken English and Spanish.
-Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment, demonstrating a strong sense of responsibility.
-Effective time management skills with the capacity to prioritize tasks.
-Willingness to learn new processes and technologies, coupled with a results-driven mindset.
Additional Information
Monday to Friday from 9:00AM to 6:00PM
Available to work extended hours, weekends and/or holidays as needed and the availability to travel as required supporting projects in the region.
