We are looking for a Sr. M&S Software Engineer to add their skills to our team supporting rapid prototyping efforts within our Advanced Digital Analysis & Prototyping Testbed (ADAPT). This job is 100% onsite with flexible work schedule through occasional remote telework and/or alternative work schedule. Travel and local commute between company campuses and other possible non-company locations may be required. Full remote work will be considered on a per instance basis.
Responsibilities include:
Work as part of an engineering team to design and implement rapid prototypes for a broad range of Intelligence, Surveillance and Reconnaissance (ISR) and Command and Control (C2) challenges
Use and develop cutting-edge modelling and simulation tools and algorithms to help address some of the most challenging issues regarding automation across the intelligence cycle for the Intelligence Community (IC) and Department of Defense (DOD)
Design, develop, and perform mission scenarios and vignettes to determine mission, system, and component performance in real-time and faster-than-real-time systems
Perform modeling and simulation evaluations that optimize mission performance for systems across the air, land, sea, space domains
Use, develop, and modify tools in support of data generation and analysis
Take ownership of code bases from design, implementation, maintenance, and test
Configure and utilize capabilities from both internal and external sources, to include modeling and simulation tools
Participation in the Agile development process and employing DevSecOps best practices
Support customer demonstrations, integration events, and field experiments
Lead tasking of yourself and other developers including decomposing high-level tasks into smaller more manageable issues/tasks
Strong organization skills with the ability to multi-task, readily adaptable to change, and respond to quick turn-around requests
