i3 is seeking a driven Software Developer in support of a cloud based DevSecOps program. This position will help spearhead the development of an interoperable medical system using emerging technologies and hybrid cloud solutions.You will work with a highly motivated team of software developers and operations engineers tosolve technical challenges and facilitate medical advancements in patient care for the entire U.S. Army Medical community.
Responsibilities
Design, develop, and maintain Android applications using modern development practices and Kotlin.
Collaborate with teams to integrate and enhance Android applications with ATAK components, ensuring seamless functionality.
Set up, configure, and manage Azure Cloud pipelines to automate build, deployment, and continuous integration processes.
Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code to maintain high standards of quality, performance, and security.
Work closely with UI/UX designers to create intuitive and user-friendly interfaces.
Integrate RESTful APIs and web services into applications to extend functionality and improve user experiences.
Identify and resolve software bugs and issues in existing applications to maintain their reliability.
Continuously optimize app performance, responsiveness, and efficiency.
Collaborate with QA engineers to ensure the delivery of high-quality, bug-free software.
Stay up to date with the latest Android and Azure Cloud trends, tools, and technologies and share knowledge with the team.

Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in a related field preferred.
Experience in Android App Development preferred
Experience developing ATAK applications and plug-ins preferred
Experience using Agile Methodologies preferred
Experience with Azure Cloud preferred
Excellent communication skills, including the ability to present complex concepts clearly and persuasively across audiences at various levels of understanding
U.S. Citizenship is required.
