Job Summary
The AFCAP V Middle East BOS Facilities/DFAC Supervisor is responsible for planning, managing and resolving customer requests and inquiries related to the operations that occur at a facility which includes scheduling, monitoring, managing, and participating in the preventative, routine, and emergency maintenance of all facilities at the project site. This includes a dining facility, dorms, latrine/shower/shave facilities, laundries, and other various building types.

Roles and Responsibilities
Duties also include management and direct assignments in various roles as needed for exercise support including but not limited to DFAC/catering, service call center, billeting, aircraft bed down, linen exchange, laundry, and fitness facility support.
Must have experience managing US military dining facilities and general expeditionary support services for both permanent and temporary facilities.
Develops plans for incoming personnel and resources required to support exercises. Completes and reviews records, maintains tools and equipment, and performs various cleanup activities. Job may require moderate to heavy lifting.
Observes and follows all safety rules and procedures, including wearing required personal safety equipment. Must be able to operate and input/maintain records in the USG provided BUILDER Sustainment Management System, as well as the KBR Maximo system.
Food Service- Plans, orders, receives, and tracks all the required dining facility food and consumables in coordination with the military, experience with the AFMIS system is preferred.
Ensures preparedness of dining and serving areas, setting up counters, stands, and tables. Monitors food containers in serving line and tables are prepared for customers to dine. Manages the receiving and proper storage of subsistence items.
Oversees the washing, rinses, sanitizing of dishes, glassware, and silverware. Ensures the cleanliness and sanitization of kitchen equipment, pots and pans, counters, and tables. Ensures personnel working in the dining facility are properly vaccinated, have a current chest x-ray (screening for tuberculosis) and appropriate medical screening is completed and documented by a medical provider. Must possess knowledge of, certification, and implement Tri-Service Food Code (TB MED 530) and local food safety/sanitation practices.
Performs other duties as assigned.
MATERIAL & EQUIPMENT DIRECTLY USED:
May be exposed to potentially hazardous conditions that require wear of hard hats, gloves, steel toed boots, hearing protection, safety glasses and other personal protection equipment (PPE); may be required to push, pull, and lift heavy equipment.
Use of Land Mobile Radios, cell phones, laptops, and other devices to maintain contact and accountability of work activities.
WORKING ENVIRONMENT:
Work will be indoors and outdoors.
Exposure to heat, cold, dust, noise, chemicals may occur.
Overtime and shift work may be required depending on contractual needs as well as occasional to frequent travel.
Employees must comply with all Federal, State and Local regulations and published Company work rules as well as written instructions.
Task specific work environment training may be provided.
Must be prepared to function in a wartime or contingency environment to support U.S. interests.
PHYSICAL ACTIVITIES:
Physical requirements include lifting up to 35lb, team lifting up to 50lbs, climbing, extended sitting, or standing, stooping, stretching, and bending.
Work may require using and wearing personal protective equipment such as hearing and eye protection, hard hat and steel-toed boots as well as Individual Protective Equipment (IPE).
Day-to-day physical requirements may involve standard office activities including sitting/standing for extended periods of time, attending meetings, use of keyboard and mouse repetitively, lifting and carrying less than 20 lbs. frequently, etc.
Work requires moderate physical exertion including walking to operating areas and walking upstairs.

Basic Qualifications
High School Diploma required.
Minimum 5 years' work experience in facility operations and/or food service operations on similar projects.
Possess or be able to obtain appropriate ServSafe certification.
Must possess knowledge of, certification, and implement Tri-Service Food Code (TB MED 530) and local food safety/sanitation practices.
Must be a U.S. Citizen with a current U. S. Driver's License.
Must possess passport book (not passport card) with at least 13 months of remaining validity AND 6 blank visa/stamp pages remaining.
Must have and maintain a valid U. S. SECRET Security Clearance
Must be able to read, write, speak and understand English fluently.
Candidates must also meet CENTCOM MOD-15 theater requirements.
Skills:
Use computers & related software such as Microsoft Office and other common products used in office environments.
Able and willing to work periods of long hours to meet mission requirements.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
Experience in contingency environments as well as knowledge & experience working with government contracts.
Preferred Qualifications
Former military Food Service/DFAC experience preferred.
