As a Failure Analysis Intern at Micron Technology, Inc., you will be working at a failure analysis laboratory that supports semiconductor fabrication. The lab is not directly involved in fabrication but helps collect electrical and physical product data to investigate process concerns, release new tools and processes and identify defect source and root causes. For example, an investigation may include testing samples electrically, cutting silicon wafers, preparing pieces for microscope imaging, and analyzing cross section results to send data and share conclusions with the fabrication areas.
