Job Description:
V2X Aerospace Solutions has Cyber Engineering Intern opportunities for current engineering college students in Indianapolis, IN. . As a Cyber Engineering Intern, you will work within a team of talented and experienced engineers and be exposed to Cyber Engineering by performing many core activities to include providing certified services and support for Information Assurance and Program Protection. The selected candidates will perform cyber analysis and apply cyber solutions for compliance with governing DoD Cybersecurity directives.
Responsibilities Include:
Providing basic support preparing cybersecurity assessment documentation to include Risk Management Framework (RMF), Cyber Resiliency and Cyber Survivability
Providing basic support assessing system vulnerabilities, applying system hardening and verifying compliance with applicable Security Technical Implementation Guides (STIGs) and cybersecurity requirements
Providing basic support for implementing embedded Cybersecurity Solutions, Security Authorization requirements, vulnerability assessments, threat mitigation, and emerging Cybersecurity technologies
Applying your engineering knowledge and participating as a member of a multi-discipline team
Contributing to the completion of project/program milestones under the general guidance of the immediate supervisor and team leads
Following established Cyber Engineering processes and procedures
Security Clearance & Other Requirements: This position requires the ability to access systems that contain information restricted to US Citizens based on certain Federal Government contractual requirements.

Cyber, Systems, Electrical, Software Engineering, Computer Science or related course work.
Desired Skills:
IAT level 2 or greater cybersecurity certification per DoD 8570.01; such as: Security+, CySA+, etc.
Exposure to Information Systems Security, Information Assurance, and Security Engineering concepts and practices
Knowledge of operating systems security features and settings (e.g. Windows, UNIX and Linux)
Previous Engineering project and/or internship experience
Experience using MS Office Suite of tools
Ability to work in a team environment

Education Requirements:
Candidate must be enrolled in an accredited college or university, pursing a technical degree in Engineering (Cyber, Computer Engineering, Electrical, Software or Systems), Computer Science or a closely related STEM field
Must have obtained Sophomore, Junior, Senior or Post graduate status as of Spring 2025. The level will be based on the candidate's qualifications, including degree credits earned
A cumulative GPA of 3.0+ is strongly desired
