2025 Summer Internship Program

Your Responsibilities:
The Video Production Intern will work closely with a dedicated team of marketing and creative services professionals. This position is a high-energy and fast-paced environment with experience in filming, editing, reviewing video performance, and presenting in front of groups. Video productions include YouTube, social media and corporate video creations.

Primary Responsibilities:
Assist with editing
Production Assistant on Video Shoots
Maintaining and making improvements to Ace videos to libraries like SOCi and Brandfolder (internal creative library)
Camera Operation
Motion Graphic Design
Upkeep of Video Equipment
Present findings on ways to improve video content production and output
Skills requirements:
The intern should be enrolled in a video production or media studies program.
Entering Senior year of college
Proficient in MAC and Microsoft operating systems
Have working knowledge of Adobe Premiere, After Effects and Media Encoder
Experience with Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator a plus
Knowledge of camera/lighting/video production process also a plus
Must be self-motivated, organized, able to prioritize multiple tasks and have a positive attitude
Adaptability and ability to learn quickly in high-pressure environments
Ambitious self-starter who has demonstrated the ability to contribute as an effective team member
Takes ownership and accountability of projects and responsibilities
Excellent time management and organizational skills
Demonstrated motivation and initiative to succeed
Knowledge and interest in Ace Hardware Corporation
Ability to work 40 hours per week, Monday -Friday for 12 weeks
Willingness and ability to give presentations to colleagues, managers and directors
