Pay Range: $81.73 - $86.53

Seeking an experienced Software Engineer to join our dynamic Agile teams delivering software solutions. In this role, you will develop and maintain robust, scalable, and reliable Java applications within an automated DevSecOps Cloud Environment.
Responsibilities :
Design, code, and test highly scalable and reliable software solutions using Java technologies and frameworks
Migrate existing applications to the Cloud and/or develop high-quality AWS Cloud Native Solutions
Design and implement database and data storage solutions
Develop and maintain automated CI/CD pipelines integrated with automated testing, code quality, and security scans
Plan and implement automation and orchestration tools to streamline infrastructure provisioning
Ensure code, cloud platform, and infrastructure are designed and optimally configured for scalability, performance, resiliency, reliability, and security
Install, upgrade, and patch platform and infrastructure and develop scripts for automation of routine tasks
Configure monitoring, logging, and alerting tools
Monitor system health, investigate incidents/outages, and perform root cause analysis and resolution
Basic Hiring Criteria :
Bachelor's degree in a related field and 10 years or more of experience as a Software Engineer
Must be able to obtain Public Trust Clearance
Relevant AWS Certifications and/or DevSecOps Certification
Desired Qualifications :
Demonstrated experience designing, developing, and maintaining complex enterprise applications at scale in the AWS Cloud Environment
In-depth experience supporting AWS Cloud Migrations
In-depth experience in one or more of: Java, J2EE, OpenJDK, Spring, Sprint Boot, Hibernate, RESTful Web Services, JAX, XML, Python, SOA, microservices architecture, Rocky Linux, Amazon Linux
Expertise in developing solutions with AWS Services, i.e. ECS, Lamda, S3, SQS, SNS, ELB, ALB, Aurora RDS,
Experience in database technologies and SQL queries (MySql, Aurora MySql, Aurora Postgres, Liquibase, etc)
Solid experience with CI/CD principles and DevSecOps tools: GitLab, GitLab Pipelines, Gitlab Runner, Sonarqube, Apache Maven, Tenable, NPM, Nexus Lifecycle
Experience with containerization and IaaS tools: Docker, Fargate, Terraform, Ansible
Experience with Authentication and Authorization: Kerberos, Okta
Experience with monitoring tools such as Systems Manager, CloudWatch, CloudTrail, Secrets Manager, Instana, Splunk, Qradar
Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently and in a team environment
Excellent written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills
Experience with Agile Methodologies and Rally
