Job Description
HII's Mission Technologies division develops integrated solutions that enable today's connected, all-domain force. Capabilities include C5ISR systems and operations; the application of AI and machine learning to battlefield decisions; defensive and offensive cyberspace strategies and EW; unmanned, autonomous systems; LVC solutions; platform modernization; and critical nuclear operations.
We are looking for a Information Assurance Toolsmith (Platform IA - Cloud) expert with expertise in the Atlassian tool suite, including Jira and Confluence to support work for the bombers directorate (WBS). The scope of this work supports the United States Air Force, providing the program with a broad range of professional services.
Must have a DoD 8570 Information Assurance Management (IAM) Level I (Security+) or equivalent certifications.
Essential Job Responsibilities
Using your knowledge of Information Assurance, and experience on DoD ACAT I or equivalent development programs you will provide:
Evaluation of system security and information assurance requirements consistent with the Intelligence Community Directive (ICD) 503 (replaces Director of Central Intelligence Directive (DCID) 6/3), including
Joint SAP Implementation Guide (JSIG) (replaces Joint Air Force, Army
Navy (JAFAN) 6/3)
Committee for National Security Systems (CNSS) Instruction 1253
+ Department of Defense Instruction (DoDI) 8510.01
National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) 800-53
Additionally, you'll be responsible for reviewing, analyzing , and assessing aircraft systems configurations/architectures to identify security, safety, and mission-critical functions/components and critical program information (CPI) and be an application administrator for Jira and Confluence
Minimum Qualifications
Minimum six (6) years of relevant DoD IA experience and a technical Bachelor degree from an accredited university.
Must have a current TS/SCI clearance
Must have a DoD 8570 Information Assurance Management (IAM) Level I (Security+) or equivalent certifications.
Three (3) of these relevant IA experience years must be within a recognized ACAT I (or equivalent) program
One (1) year on a Special Access Program.
Ten (10) years of relevant DoD IA experience can be used to substitute for a technical Bachelor degree.
Expertise in the Atlassian tool suite especially Jira and Confluence
Experience as a Trusted Agent
System privileged user
Preferred Qualifications
A working knowledge of data analytic methods including experience with Python and Scikit-learn are preferred.
One (1) year of SAP experience is preferred
