ASRC Federal Business Innovations (AFBI) is seeking qualified candidates for the Senior Systems Engineering Director position supporting our Integrated Broadcast System (IBS) work located in Fort Belvoir, VA.
Provide subject matter expertise for the planning and engineering of an organization's systems infrastructure. Ensure that hardware and/or software are designed and installed in a manner that meets the needs of the organization. Create functional strategies and specific objectives for the sub-functions and develop budgets/policies/procedures to support the functional infrastructure.
Demonstrates deep knowledge of the managed sub-functions and solid knowledge of the overall departmental functions.
Support formulation of program goals, plans, policies and procedures, and work plans dealing with the development, operation, and worldwide transmission of tactical and strategic intelligence and targeting data to all echelons of operational users, as well as to the IBS CN, NATO, and emerging partner functions and activities.
Provide support to the IBS EA Staff by attending DoD, military service, IBS Collaborating Nation, and IBS Enterprise forums with principals in planning, executing, presenting, and defending significant studies and analyses affecting the IBS enterprise.
Establish, develop, and maintain effective working relationships with OUSD (I&S), Joint Staff, CCMDs, and CN, NATO, and emerging partners.
Deliver presentations on IBS program status, accomplishments, problems, tasks for support, and promotion of program objectives to senior military officers and civilians in other program offices of the Command, USAF, Joint Staff, and associated IBS corporations. (Deliverable: IBS Technical Program/Project Reports)
Support IBS EA Staff meetings, including but not limited to: Enterprise Message Standards Working Group (MSWG); maintenance steering groups; integrated baseline reviews; execution reviews; and sustainment reviews.
Execute all contractually binding assigned PWS portions in conjunction with this contract.
Requirements :
EXPERIENCE:
At least Ten (10) years of relatable work experience.
CLEARANCE LEVEL:
TS/SCI Counter-Intelligence (CI) Polygraph Including SAP
EDUCATION:
Bachelor's Degree, OR ten (10) additional years IBS relevant experience
