THE WORK
Will report to the Orlando based RMS Global Sustainment Field Sustainment COE Manager.
This will be a high visibility position with responsibilities for day to day operations and success of the program. The selected candidate shall assist multiple program managers with program activities to include: cost, schedule, and performance; establish milestones and monitor adherence to master plans and schedules, and identify program problems and obtain solutions, such as allocation of resources or changing contractual specifications.
Specific responsibilities include:
-Coordinating employee recruitment, selection and training, performance assessment, work assignments, salary, and recognition/disciplinary actions.
-Approve time card and expense reports
-Oversee the status of work and budgets
-Manage schedules and prepare status reports.
-Work with the COE Manager to monitor the assessment of project issues and develop resolutions to meet productivity, quality, and client-satisfaction goals and objectives.
-Work with the COE Manager to insure the development of mechanisms for monitoring project progress and problem solving with project managers, line managers, and clients.
-Must have demonstrated strong organizational and leadership skills and have the experience of leading resources across multiple locations and sites.
-Must exert expert knowledge of the GS domains assigned and have knowledge of other GS domains and their interrelationships.
-Will contribute to the development of overall business strategies and long-range goals for assigned GS domains.
-Will be required to work directly with peer GS Customer Service Organizations and Senior Leadership in supporting all RMS LOB needs associated with responsible GS domains.
-Will be required to represent GS Customer Service and present GS initiatives and capabilities to industry peers and customer representatives at various primary RMS locations and/or off site meetings and conferences.
-Must be able to provide technical guidance within responsible GS domains to subordinates in establishing state of the art technical solutions that utilize the application of advanced principles, theories, concepts and techniques to solve a variety of GS technical problems.
-Position requires frequent (daily) interface with customers, Program Managers, RMS functional support organizations including Tech Ops, Operations, Contracts, Subcontracts, Business Development, Finance, etc.
-Will work with the site RMS GS Logistics Project Managers to ensure appropriate GS Customer Service and Supply Chain resources, processes and applications are being implemented and personnel resources are appropriately trained.

Basic Qualifications:
1. Experience working with proposal capture teams on domestic and international opportunities
2. Experience with Earned Value Management Process.
3. Demonstrated experience leading diversified technical teams.
4. Demonstrated ability to effectively oversee proposal and the Basis-Of-Estimates (BOEs) development and execution.
5. Good communication and management skills are mandatory for this position, as well as the demonstrated ability to work harmoniously in a team environment with government customers and contractors.
6. Manager shall have the ability to multi-task and be familiar with MS Office and scheduling tools such as MS Project.
7. Working knowledge of the domestic and international travel authorization process.

Ability to Work Remotely: Part-time Remote Telework: The employee selected for this position will work part of their work schedule remotely and part of their work schedule at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. The specific weekly schedule will be discussed during the hiring process.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
