Description
The Leidos Human Health and Performance Contract team has an excellent opportunity for a Systems Engineering Integrator.This position is located at the Johnson Space Center in Houston, Texas and offers a hybrid work schedule.
The successful candidate will perform system engineering integration and support verification planning for EVA and Human Systems Mobility Program (EHP) for Artemis lunar surface missions. This role will assist in the development of verification and validation (V&V) processes/tools as well as various program V&V products, including V&V objectives and plans.
US Citizenship or US Permanent Residency and the ability to successfully obtain a Public Trust Security Clearance are required.
Primary Responsibilities
- Assist in development of the EHP V&V products, including: EHP Detailed Verification Objectives (DVOs), Validation Objectives, Verification Events and Verification Closure Notices.
- Assist in development of V&V processes by applying practical V&V knowledge and and experience (e.g. processes may include test-like-you-fly exceptions, verification waivers, and verification planning/closure process work flows).
- Perform program-to-program system engineering integration by coordinating inputs, resolving issues, and providing day-to-day support to integration team activities.
- Perform program-to-program integration with Gateway and Human Landing System (HLS) Programs by coordinating V&V plans, resolving issues, and providing day-to-day support to integration team activities.
- Develop additional and yet to be identified V&V products and processes as the EHP design life cycle matures.
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor of Science Degree in Engineering or related field and 3+ years of applicable experience (to include supporting and/or performing V&V tasks)
- Experience with NASA and/or commercial partner V&V processes
- Experience in system engineering integration
- Ability collaborate effectively among individuals and teams distributed across multiple work locations
- Strong trouble-shooting, problem-solving, and data analysis skills
- Ability to perform cross-program integration to meet multiple timelines and deliverables in parallel
- Strong written and oral communication skills
- Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook)
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience developing NASA or NASA-related system documentation
- Experience with requirement variance processing (e.g., waivers)
- Experience with V&V tools

Pay Range:
Pay Range $65,000.00 - $117,500.00
