Tele-Consultants, Inc. (TCI) is seeking an Electrical or Systems Engineer to join our team in support of the Naval Undersea Warfare Center Division Newport (NUWCDIVNPT).
Job responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
The candidate will work directly with NUWC Engineers reviewing engineering drawings developed according to design specifications;
Review, comment and adjudicate engineering drawing packages and related documentation;
Analyze, design, and review communications systems designs to ensure that the design requirements are met.
Education:
Minimum of Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Electronics or Systems Engineering from an accredited university;
Experience with engineering and Design Drawings.
Additional Qualifications:
Any relevant experience with Common Submarine Radio Room (CSRR), Consolidated Afloat Networks and Enterprise Services (CANES) and/or Automated Digital Network Systems (ADNS) is a big PLUS!
Experience with Submarine Electronics, QA Material Process;
Experience with Test Equipment including O'scope, spectrum analyzers, signal generator, and network analyzers;
Proficiency with Microsoft Office products;
Proficiency with the MS Visio drawing software and any CAD software also a PLUS!
The nature of this position requires U.S. citizenship and the ability to pass a thorough background investigation.
The primary location for performance of the work will be in Newport, RI with very limited travel, if any, required within the continental United States.
