In Countermeasure & Electromagnetic Attack Solutions, we provide next-generation threat detection and countermeasure solutions to provide unparalleled electronic warfare capabilities to enhance mission survivability. Because of the need for consistent, in-person collaboration and/or the requirement to perform all work onsite due to the nature of this particular role, it will be performed fulltime on site. This means work will be conducted on location at a BAE Systems facility 100% of the time.
The Role:
In this role, you will:
Lead a cross-functional team to demonstrate the solutions to some of the United States most pressing problems in technique development.
You will be leading the development of future aircraft systems such as improvements to future mission system designs, software, algorithms and user interfaces.
You will be developing the future of Radio Frequency Electronic Warfare and Advanced Electronics, which is focused on developing next generation Electronic Warfare capabilities for the Warfighter.
Occasionally travel (about 25% of the time) to customer sites for meetings and technical discussions and participate in field events. Have opportunities to develop strong and increasingly complex Hardware and software skills and stay current in the hardware and software discipline.

Required Education, Experience, & Skills
U.S. Citizenship with Secret Clearance
Bachelor s Degree in Systems Engineering, Electrical Engineering or Mechanical Engineering or equivalent, related discipline with 10 years of experience,
or Master s Degree in Systems Engineering, Electrical Engineering or Mechanical Engineering and 6 years of experience
Motivated individual with strong problem-solving abilities
Effective communication skills (both verbal and written
Preferred Education, Experience, & Skills
Experienced System Engineer with TS/SCI
Master's degree in a technical field such as Systems Engineering
Have RF Theory and wireless communications experience.
Understanding of signal processing for signal analysis and waveform generation
Specific skills within the Electronic Attack (EA) domains of Electronic Warfare (EW)
Digital Engineering, Model Based Systems Engineering (SysML), Model Based Agile Engineering (Value Drive Digital Threads) and Agile Mindset principle, practices & processes, and tools & techniques.
Pay Information
Full-Time Salary Range: $140690 - $239140
Please note: This range is based on our market pay structures. However, individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to: business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience.
