We are actively hiring a Russian Linguist with TS/SCI clearance and polygraph to join our team working in Reston, VA. You will be responsible for supporting a government agency and your office with translation, transcription, and/or interpretation services.
RESPONSIBILITIES
The linguist will conduct specialized collection of Science and Technology publication articles and patent applications, including full source-language text, in response to government guidance.
The linguist will conduct supplementary research from foreign language sources on equipment and technologies identified.
The linguist will translate selected technical documents upon request.
Work will be performed during ordinary hours (e.g., 8-5) in an ordinary work week (Monday-Friday).
REQUIRED EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE
Must possess an active TS/SCI clearance with polygraph
Bachelor's degree desired
Translation into English
Knowledge of military terminology is strongly preferred.
Collection from published, online and broadcast media
Monitoring published, online and broadcast media while identifying relevant content
QC/Editing
Selection
Summarizing/Gisting while drawing upon linguistic or cultural expertise
Translation Related Services
