The University of Southern California's Department of Middle East Studies in the Dana and David Dornsife College of Letters, Arts and Sciences in Los Angeles, California, has a need for a full-time, teaching-track instructor to teach beginning through advanced Arabic starting Fall 2025 . Applicants for the Arabic language position should demonstrate the ability to teach a dialect of colloquial Arabic in addition to Modern Standard Arabic. Salary and benefits are competitive.
Requirements: Native or near-native fluency in Arabic; demonstrated excellence in the teaching of Arabic language at the college level and in the effective application of current technologies to foreign language learning. M.A. or Ph.D. in Arabic, Second Language Acquisition and Teaching, or related field required.

The annual base salary range for this position is $76,000 - $79,800.
