Optimized Technical Solutions (OTS) is seeking a top-notch DevOps Expert II to join our industry-leading, cloud-computing team working on an important, long-term program supporting a DoD program with the USAF. This role is fully remote, requires a Secret Clearance, and the duties and responsibilities are below, but not limited to:
Build, script, and test Compliance as Code to apply security configuration(s) to cloud resources upon (or after) deployment.
Provide cloud service expertise to cloud-deployed applications, assisting application developers with integrating application-specific components into available cloud services.
Write CaC and IaC for both cloud native service deployment and for hosted application deployment to cloud services (AWS Elastic Beanstalk, AWS Lambda, Azure App Services).
Secure cloud service and application resources according to industry standards and cloud provider best practices and collects and provides evidence for security baseline adherence.
Prepare operating instructions, compiles documentation of IaC when necessary, and analyzes system capabilities to resolve questions of IaC intent, output requirements, input data acquisition, programming techniques, and controls.
Work within Agile SDLC framework to include performing work activity within two- to three-week sprints, participating in daily scrums, and utilizing sprint tracking software to track and communicate individual work activity to stakeholders.
Requirements
Minimum Candidate requirements
Candidate must be a US Citizen.
Candidate must have minimum Active DoD Secret Clearance
Candidate must have a bachelor's degree from an accredited institution in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
Candidate must have CompTIA Security+ CE or other applicable 8570 IAT Level II certification
Candidate must have 10+ years of related experience in Cloud services
Specific experience in Oracle Cloud Infrastructure
Deployment automation via OCI native capability and/or third-party tooling (e.g., Terraform)
OCI service configuration, deployment, management, and troubleshooting
Preferred Skills:
Desired experience in Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (design, implementation, testing/validation, support/maintenance,
Applicable Oracle Cert desired but not required (e.g., Oracle Cloud Infrastructure Certified Architect or Certified Associate)
