Job Description
This role will include designing, engineering, and maintaining solutions in a wide range of cyber defense and IT infrastructure technologies. Candidate should be considered an expert in at least one of these technologies: ACAS/Nessus vulnerability scanning, Trellix HBSS/ESS, Threat Intelligence Platforms particularly Analyst1, Rubrik Data Protection, or SIEM solutions particularly Elastic Security.
The selected candidate will be responsible for enterprise security patching, upgrades, security configuration, and compliance with the Risk Management Framework. Will also write detailed designs and whitepapers to address upgrades, troubleshooting, and integrating new solutions.
This position is located in Chesapeake, VA. There is no relocation assistance available for this position. Applicants must be currently residing in or state willingness to relocate self to Chesapeake, VA or surrounding areas.
Required Education, Experience, & Skills
Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Information Technology and 6 years of work related experience (additional years of experience may be substituted for the degree)
Comptia Security certification or another that meets a DoD 8750 IAT II
Proficiency with VMware vSphere, Microsoft Active Directory Domains, Linux Operating Systems, and SQL Server
Preferred Education, Experience, & Skills
Master's Degree in Cybersecurity
GIAC certifications such as, but not limited to: ISC2 CISSP, Microsoft MCSA, VMware VCP, Linux certifications, etc.
Pay Information
Full-Time Salary Range: $102200 - $173700
