Your Mission:
Embark on an exciting journey as a DevSecOps Engineer, specializing in High Performance Computing (HPC) and shaping the future of our infrastructure! This role offers a unique opportunity to work with cutting-edge technology in classified areas, managing thousands of servers (compute nodes) across numerous computing clusters. As a DevSecOps Engineer in our HPC team, you will be at the forefront of innovation, driving continuous improvement and contributing to the next generation of infrastructure.
Key Responsibilities:
High customer engagement: Collaborate closely with engineers, developers, and scientists across multiple departments to deliver innovative capabilities and ensure seamless integration with their workflows.
Build and support HPC and Kubernetes environments: Work in a dynamic and collaborative setting to construct and maintain multiple HPC and Kubernetes environments using DevSecOps-focused architecture.
Partner with development teams: Collaborate with various development teams to help optimize their CI/CD pipelines, ensuring they can fully leverage the available infrastructure.
Leverage Infrastructure as Code (IaC): Hone your scripting and programming skills by utilizing IaC principles, which form a significant part of this position.
Work with various container runtimes and Kubernetes distributions: Gain hands-on experience deploying applications across the environment using multiple container runtimes and Kubernetes distributions.

How about Fridays off? (Well, typically anyway - this IS an IT role, ya know?) This role is scoped on a 4x10 schedule! All work must be performed on-site in our secure facility in Orlando, FL - and it may include some occasional off-shift hours, weekends, and limited travel.

Basic Qualifications:
Ability to obtain and maintain a security clearance (US Citizenship), and customers' acceptance.
Experience with Linux operating systems
Fundamental knowledge of DevOps/DevSecOps CI/CD pipelines and version control such as Git
Ability to obtain and maintain a Security+, or other IAT Level II/III security certification within 6 months of hire.
Demonstrated experience effectively performing in a fast paced, dynamic environment while developing effective stakeholder and partner relationships; collaboration, interpersonal, and teaming skills
Proven business acumen to manage multiple assignments and projects with the ability to balance technical requirements with business needs and affordability
Desired Skills:
Active Secret or Top Secret security clearance with background investigation within 6 years
Security+, CISSP, or other IAT Level II/III security certification
Experience with GitHub, GitLab, Jira, or other Agile project management tools
Scripting ability to support system management such as with Python, Bash, PowerShell, etc.
Experience with IaC tools such as Terraform, Ansible, Pulumi, or Helm.
Experience with containers and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes, RKE2, Singularity/Apptainer).
Experience with virtualization such as VMWare.
Technical documentation creation and management; including documenting existing environments
Understanding of routing/switching networking concepts, IT infrastructure and cybersecurity best practices.
Security Clearance Statement: This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.
Clearance Level: Secret with Investigation or CV date within 5 years

Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
