Based out of the United States (preferred locations: Pittsburgh, PA; Atlanta, GA; San Diego, CA; Irvine, CA; Virginia Beach, VA; Denver, CO) you'll assist a team of project managers, scientists, geologists, and engineers in delivering environmental services on time and within budget for world class projects. You'll work with a knowledgeable and supportive group of professional staff as you conduct data analysis, visualization, and reporting; develop automation and models; and collaborate on projects to engineer data solutions that allow the delivery of innovation products.

In pursuit of a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Data Engineering, Mathematics, Statistics, or closely related field
Must be at least a rising Junior
Proficiency in Python, R, and/or SQL
Working knowledge of Microsoft Office programs including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
United States Citizenship
Ability to work in one of the preferred locations for this internship (Pittsburgh, PA; Atlanta, GA; San Diego, CA; Irvine, CA; Virginia Beach, VA; Denver, CO)

3.0 GPA
A previous internship related to your field of study
Ability to communicate with all levels of management within Jacobs
Self-driven time management and organizational skills
Experience in data analysis and visualization techniques for environmental data and projects
Experience with interactive web application frameworks such as RShiny or Streamlit
Experience with document authoring frameworks such as RMarkdown or Quarto
Knowledge of spatial data analysis and GIS fundamentals.
Knowledge of database management principles
Familiarity with development environments including Azure, Docker, and Linux
Proficiency in C++, Java, Swift.
Experience with machine learning and artificial intelligence
