All Source Analyst - Unauthorized Disclosure
KBR is seeking an All Source Analyst - Unauthorized Disclosure with an active TS/SCI in Crystal City, VA. This is a hybrid opportunity split work from home and go into office in Crystal City.
Must have an active DoD TS/SCI clearance.
Responsibilities:
As an information security professional, you will be adhering to application information security guidance for the identification, triage, and response to:
Mishandling of classified information incidents.
Independently writing clear, succinct, and grammatically correct documents requiring minimal edits at the senior level.
Communicating verbally in a logical, coherent manner with senior level DoD executives.
Unauthorized Disclosure Support Services will also:
Provide UD support services to help improve identification, reporting, tracking, and mitigation of UDs across the enterprise.
Understand and apply existing DoD information security policy governing mishandling of classified and CUI, specific to unauthorized disclosure for suspected or confirmed reports of the UD of CUI or classified National Security Information.
Work with organizations to accomplish case management of unauthorized disclosures in accordance to DoD policy, intelligence community directives and/or Security Executive Agent Directives (SEAD).
Coordinate the accomplishment of original classification authority (OCA) reviews, ensure complete and accurate damage/impact assessments and ensure complete and accurate preliminary inquiries.
Assist in the development and staffing of UD packages for final referral to criminal, civil and/or administrative authorities and follow through to completion of all actions.
Assist the organizations with making the final referral to the Department of Justice (DOJ) or the appropriate Military Criminal Investigation Organization (MCIO). This may include:
Reviewing the impact assessment or media leaks questionnaire for consistency.
Review insider threat hub unauthorized disclosure cases providing expert advice/guidance on whether the reported incident is an actual UD or data spill or mishandling, which will enable the success of the Department??s continuous improvement of the identification and reporting process for UDs
Manage, and when required, develop new metrics, and conduct analysis on all UD metrics.
Build products, summaries, case studies and trend products and communicate these ideas and products orally and in writing, including talking points for senior leadership engagements.
All written deliverables must be clear, succinct, and grammatically correct requiring minimal edits.
Assist with monitoring, evaluating, and proposing changes to classified and controlled unclassified information policy, directives and memorandums.
Assist with development and implementation of strategic plans, component outreach strategies, conferences and forums, and other UD centric programs and projects that may occur on a monthly or quarterly basis.
Assist with outreach efforts such as developing training curriculums, posters, and other UD centric deterrence activities.
Required Qualifications:
Minimum of five (5) years of experience in the following areas:
Information security discipline within the DoD, the Defense Intelligence Enterprise, and/or similar Government function or private industry.
Information security function includes classification, declassification, protection of classified national defense information, controlled unclassified information and other sensitive information.
Proficiency in the use of computers and associated software, including Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint, etc.)
Minimum of three (3) years of experience in the following areas:
Knowledge of the Department of Defense or equivalent Agency security functions to include insider threat, operations security, personnel security, physical security, industrial security, technology protection and prepublication review.
DoD security policy, intelligence community directives and/or Security Executive Agent Directive artifacts, and capable of making information security recommendations relevant to unauthorized disclosure and speak to those positions at various forums.
Developing metrics from data points and through analysis developed courses of action and produced word or power point analytical products tying the analysis into a single product requiring that requires minimal edits.
Understanding of the DoD components through work experience directly supporting the DoD components.
Desired Qualifications:
Bachelor??s degree in information security or related field is highly preferred but not required.
