Are you looking for your next GEOINT challenge? BAE Systems is seeking a mid-level geospatial intelligence analyst to provide geodetic/geodesy support to a key Intelligence Community customer. As a geospatial intelligence analyst, you will provide input to revisions of Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and other documentation related to Gravity Data Processing. As an analytic leader for a team focused on gravity data production, you will plan and execute production, identify discrepancies in gravity data, and assist in developing training material.
Required Education, Experience, & Skills
3-6 years of demonstrated experience in the application of quantitative data analysisandinterpretation.
1-3 years of demonstrated experience in the knowledge of scientific analysis, statistical analysis,or data analytics.
1-3 demonstrated years' experience in the knowledge and application of geology and geophysics concepts.
Demonstrate knowledge of scientific systems (Physics, Geophysics, Geology,Geosciences).
Basic understanding of the gravitational influenceon:
Navigationandguidancesystems
Trajectorymodeling
CircularError Product(CEP)
Preferred Education, Experience, & Skills
Demonstrated knowledge of Mathematical, Statistical, or Scientific Software: MATLAB,Mathematica, Surfer,Fledermaus, STK,ENVI,etc
Demonstrated experience working in multidisciplinary teams to develop solutions to problems and deliver those solutions.
Advanced coursework: Cale Ill, Advanced Cale, Linear Algebra, Ordinary Differential Equations, Partial Differential Equations, Signal Processing, Numerical Analysis, Complex Variables, Mathematical Modellng, Geodesy, 300 level Statistics, Vector Analysis, Numerical Methods, Fourier Analysis, Potential Theory.
Basic proficiencyinFortranand/orMatlabprogramminglanguage
Basic proficiency with scripting languages such as Python, andC.
Pay Information
Full-Time Salary Range: $83900 - $142600
Please note: This range is based on our market pay structures. However, individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to: business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience.
