Position Summary
This is a Constructive Simulation UE (Upper Enclave) Specialist (Intelligence Analyst IV) position at the Global Simulation Capability, National Simulation Center, Fort Leavenworth, KS in support of the National Simulation Center (NSC) Support Operations (SO) task order under MTCCS II IDIQ.
What You'll Do
Provides support for simulation systems used in support of individual and collective training at the company through Corps level
Participates in planning and implementation of training programs, practices and procedures; and configuration requirements definition, analysis, design, system integration, and performance analysis for intelligence simulation systems fielded to the site
Manages a team of scenario developers, subject matter experts (SME), and systems engineers to analyze job tasks, develop new and revise existing training content, and implement revised content based on changes to the system; tactics, techniques, and procedures; and concept of operations
Ensures the Battlespace Simulation integration into the respective sites operations
Requirements and Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree (Engineering, Science, Mathematics, or related field)
5 yrs. experience within the past 10 years, planning simulation exercise architectures, supervising implementation of communication systems, and integrating Army MCIS in support of distributed exercises; 5 yrs. experience in IT management;
3 yrs. hands-on experience with constructive simulation systems used in military training environments, such as JLCCTC, WARSIM, or other relevant platforms; 3 yrs. experience and proficiency in intelligence analysis tools and SW;
Familiarity with JLCCTC, WARSIM, and WARSIM Intelligence Module (WIM) or similar simulation systems; experience (hands-on) configuring, managing, testing, operating, uploading SW and patches; support SECRET RELEASABLE [variable], SECRET, TS SCI, WIM and UE components;
Familiar with Activity reports for JLCCTC UE components including activities such as SW updates, installation of patches, installation of IAVA, and execution of IA scans;
Knowledge and understanding in providing Contractor Special Security Monitors (CSSM) for UE to monitor, operate, and oversee GSC JLCCTC RM, Tactical Communications Support Processor (TCSP), and any other cross-domain security devices that function with the SECRET and TS SCI classification. / DoD IAT II / TS/SCI
Support Hours: The contractor is responsible for conducting business while the facility is open, between the hours of 0730-1630 Monday thru Friday except Federal holidays or when the Government facility is closed due to local or national emergencies, administrative closings, or similar Government directed facility closings. Contractors may work in an alternative workplace when the Government facility is closed. In the event of a Government Shutdown, the contractor may work in the facility, if open/manned, or in an alternative workplace.
Place of Performance: The work to be performed under this contract will be performed at Fort Leavenworth, KS. All Contractor employees shall abide by local guidance at each installation as it pertains to access, face coverings, physical distancing, and mandatory quarantine policies. Any unknowns or uncertainties will be resolved with the KO or COR for questions or concerns.
Travel: The Contractor will be authorized travel expenses consistent with the substantive provisions of the Joint Travel Regulation (JTR) and the limitation of funds specified in this contract.
