Northrop Grumman Enterprise Services is seeking a Staff Enterprise Applications Analyst to join our Enterprise 1ERP organization to support SAP's Cash Management, Treasury and Risk Management, and Concur Travel & Expense module. This position will report directly to the 1ERP AP, Tax, Travel, and Cash/Treasury Systems Manager.
This position is not location specific and can be performed virtually.
Travel : Yes, up to 25% of the time
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Support a diverse, cross-sector, cross-functional team of technical and business experts and end users.
Be able to prioritize recurring work, changing priorities, and updating ticket status with relevant information and seeing efforts through to completion.
Interface between systems analysts/programmers and 1ERP Business Technology Partners (Level 3) to ensure that information technology designs in SAP meet the needs of the end users within the Sector.
Collaborate, define, and deliver technical solutions to a wide range of complex difficult problems that are imaginative, thorough, practicable, and consistent with organizational goals and objectives.
Execute interface development and troubleshooting, enhancement development and testing, business process improvements, and regression testing and validation.
Provide SAP configuration support and support configuration management.
Oversee development and tracking of system roadmaps and schedules to meet short and long-term strategic execution plans to meet critical milestones.
Provide routine status, which may include, briefings.
Represent the 1ERP Cash/Treasury and Travel Systems team on different projects that the team supports.
Anticipate potential issues and opportunities and Investigate issues reported by Business process Champion (L2s); reviewing data conditions and recommending steps to resolve issues working directly with Level 3s, Level 2s, and business users.
Support process improvement activities to deliver the highest quality of service to sector customers.
Work with other SAP Team analysts on cross functional projects.
Work with 1ERP Business Technology Partners (Level 3) in updating and writing functional specification documents.
Identify training opportunities for the team.
Lead process improvement activities to deliver the highest quality of service to sector customers.
Participate in the definition, implementation, and optimization of automated systems and processes, and support for special projects, as required.
Handle reporting requests by analyzing the requirements, preparing functional specifications, working with developers, and testing new reports and changes.
Support non-recurring project planning, requirements gathering, test development/execution, security design, change management and implementation/go-live support working under general supervision.
Must be willing to support go-lives which are over shutdowns, holidays or weekends
Candidates will need to be self-starters, with strong organizational and communication skills (written and verbal).This position is not location specific and can be performed virtually within the continental United States. Potential travel when required.
Basic Qualifications:
Minimum of 14 years of relevant experience with a Bachelor's degree; OR 12 years of relevant experience with a Master's degree OR 9 years of experience with PhD; in lieu of a degree 14 years of additional experience can be accepted
Strong hands-on SAP Cash Management and/or Treasury Risk Management experience in ECC 6.0 or higher
Experienced in overseeing Bank account management, SAP Payment formats, Bank files formats, AP Payments process, Lockbox processes, AR Cash Application, Bank Statements
Experienced in performing and managing Foreign Exchange rates, Interest rates, and CDS spreads
Proficient in designing and creating functional specifications, user training documentation, test plans and test script development and execution.
Experienced in gathering requirements, recommending solutions, design and manage configuration, perform and oversee testing, implementation, and support.
Experience with supporting and analyze reports, interfaces, conversions, enhancements.
Experience in working towards optimization of existing SAP modules/architecture integrations while considering and/or introducing new solutions and automations focused on business needs.
Coordinate with and support fellow SAP Cash Management and Treasury/Risk Management Analysts.
Intermediate to Advanced knowledge of MS Office tools
Ability to independently manage workload and lead collaboration activities with business process experts.
Experience with recurring duties and troubleshooting issues related to Cash Management and Treasury/Risk Management within a large multi-system SAP-centric ERP architecture.
Act as a conduit between the technical community and sector customer community around changes, enhancement requests, maintenance, communications, and strategic direction.
Facilitate meetings and discussions to gather input and feedback on proposed changes.
Experience with working with an SAP security team on investigating and resolving authorization issues.
Review and demonstrate SOX controls with Audit and Compliance teams.
Able to support after hours maintenance and upgrades on critical systems and provide on call support as needed.
Manage related system jobs through Redwood Run My Jobs tool.
Learn and provide backup support for SAP Concur Travel & Expense and related functionality.
Experience working virtually and being on camera.
Preferred Qualifications :
Candidates with these desired skills will be given preferential consideration:
BS or MS degree in IT, Accounting, or Business
Experience with S/4 HANA
Experience with production support and/or full life cycle SAP project implementation.
Experience with master data and configuration as typically used by the Aerospace and Defense industry.
Experience with core financial modules GL, AP, and AR to help with support requests.
Experience with SAP Concur Travel & Expense Administration
Experience with Fiori
Strong knowledge in MS Excel and/or Access
Salary Range: $136,300 - $204,500
The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.
Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
