Applied Research Solutions is seeking a full-time Cyberspace Defense Analysis Server Solution Analyst SME located at San Antonio, Texas.
The Cryptologic and Cyber Systems Division is a one-of-a-kind U.S. Air Force activity operating from Lackland Air Force Base which provides life cycle management for information assurance and other cyberspace support systems. The HNC division is responsible for technology development, acquisition, sustainment, and demilitarization of cyber security systems and products.

Responsibilities include:
Comprehensive knowledge and understanding of principles, policies and practices of acquisition and sustainment in the disciplines of systems engineering, server administration, network engineering, firewall and gateway systems as applied to Cyberspace Defense Analysis (CDA) weapon system or similar Data Loss Prevention system.
Provide expert level contributions to adapt current and newly developed commercial and government off-the-shelf hardware and software from initial concepts to the CDA weapon system production environment using the Cyber Agile Acquisition process.
Knowledge of roles and relationships within the AF Cyber Operations community, the AF Cyber Requirements community, the AF Cyber Test community, and the Cyber Hardware/Software providers in the Cyber Industry (e.g. Fidelis, Solar Winds, F5, etc.).
Knowledge of these roles and relationships will enable the Contractor to provide strategic and tactical solutions to meet emerging requirements from sustainment modifications and from internally generated system planning initiatives (short-term, and long-term). In response to evolving Cyber Operational requirements, the Contractor shall independently decompose the requirements to a component level, and then assemble a collection of components to meet the requirements.
The associated project management, training, and logistics considerations shall be of a detail and quality that the information shall be used by other members of the Integrated Product Team to develop artifacts necessary to execute the effort.
Expertise necessary to generate more than one alternative to enable tradeoffs between the different alternatives based on external constraints involving cost, schedule, and performance.
Ability to work proactively, with minimal supervision, and effectively communicate orally and in writing to produce quality acquisition and program documentation and associated artifacts (briefings, documents, plans, reports, cost estimates, etc.).
Ability to apply advanced knowledge of the Cyber and Networking domains to support quick reaction efforts that involve high intensity collaboration between MAJCOM requirements, Acquisition IPTs, and the Warfighter.

Qualifications/ Technical Experience Requirements:
Must be a U.S. Citizen
Active Secret clearance is required
Bachelor's Degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, Computer Engineering or related fields of study or equivalent experience
5+ years of experience with participation in all phases (Material Solution Analyst, Technology Maturation & Risk Reduction, Engineering & Manufacturing Development, Production & Development, Operations & Support) of an ACAT Level III or Higher program.
Experience managing programs consistent with regulatory requirements specified in the DoDD 5000s series.
Superb communication skills orally and in writing.
Preferred Qualification:
Master's Degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related fields of study or equivalent experience.
Posses the advance knowledge, experience, and recognized ability to be considered and expert in their technical/professional field and posses the ability to perform complex tasks in a short amount of time
Familiarity with AF Weapon Systems or equivalent Enterprise Level Passive/Active Information Protection and Monitoring Systems.
