CACI has an outstanding opportunity for a Network Engineer who wants to make a difference in the defense of the nation by applying their tradecraft and experience in a fast-paced dynamic environment in support of the Naval Air Systems Command (NAVAIR). We are seeking a motivated individual to join an innovative and dynamic team that is developing mission critical solutions for the warfighter.
What You'll Get to Do
Your primary responsibility is to collaborate with the cyber security and engineering teams to manage, develop, and test network configurations across platforms, ground stations, and network operation centers. This networking infrastructure will provide the foundation required to enable the fielding of advanced capabilities in support of the warfighter who will be leveraging manned and unmanned systems.

Support analytical and troubleshooting with an understanding of systems interoperability
Recommend and document network architecture, concept designs, network change implementation plans, and risk assessments
Operate in a cross-functional team to establish the network design
Review and conduct analysis of existing network architectures and provide design recommendations of current/modern WAN/MAN/LAN technologies
Provide network implementation guidance, such as network segmentation protocols to improve the existing architecture and meet new networking requirements
Design and document telecommunications circuit specifications
Provide experience with automatic provisioning network configurations for operational systems
You'll Bring These Qualifications
US Citizen with active TS/SCI clearance
Bachelor's degree in an engineering or related discipline
Excellent written and verbal skills
Strong understanding of encryption algorithms
Strong knowledge of Routing Protocol Configurations, Standard Access-list, Extended Access-list configuration, OSI 7 Layer Model, IPv4 and IPv6, DNS, DHCP
Experience with implementation of DHCP, DNS, FTP, TFTP, and Syslog
3-5 years of experience with Cisco Switches, Routers, and Firewalls
3-5 years of progressive experience in Information Technology operations roles
3-5 years of experience in monitoring and resolving network issues
Have or obtain within 6 months: active DoD 8570/8140 level two baseline certification (e.g., CompTIA Security+ CE, CCNA Security)
These Qualifications Would Be Nice to Have
Master's degree in an engineering or related discipline
5+ years of experience with Linux environments
5+ years of experience collaborating with customers / end users to gather and document network requirements
5+ years of experience in VMware environments
5+ experience in virtual and physical Internet Protocol and Fiber Channel networks and routing protocols
5+ years of experience designing, optimizing, and troubleshooting LAN, WAN and low bandwidth networks protected by network encryptors
Active DoD 8570/8140 computing environment certification (e.g., CCNA)

The proposed salary range for this position is:
$68,400-$143,700
