You will be the Staff Subcontract Manager supporting the Launchers Programs.
What You Will Be Doing
As the Staff Subcontract Manager, you will be responsible for the subcontract and project management for major and key program suppliers' cost, contractual, schedule, technical and quality performance. Your responsibilities will include:
Leading cross-functional Subcontract Management Teams
Manage the procurement cycle from request for proposal to purchase order closeout
Coordinate with program to set priorities and schedules
Ability to work recovery plans with supplier management as required to assure deliveries meet production requirements.
Requests for proposal, source selection, and purchase order placement
Negotiate pricing, contractual terms, and lead times
Manage supplier relationships and performance issues
Control costs and perform price analysis
Maintain accuracy of purchasing documents and data including procurement files
Supports and leads cost reduction initiatives, change activity, and program meetings
Comply with all applicable FARS / DFARS and company policies
Some travel will be required

Basic Qualifications:
Ability to obtain US Secret Security Clearance
Experience in a program subcontract management role and familiarity with LMAPs, SC Navigator, P2P, and SAP
Ability to work in a dynamic environment
Experience establishing relationships with a supplier and managing continuously improved supplier performance
Detail and teamwork oriented with
demonstrated organizational skills
Strong interpersonal skills and supplier project leadership
Demonstrated communication skills (verbal,
written, and presentation)
Project/Program Management skills
Desired Skills:
Familiarity with the lifecycle of a production program
Experience managing multiple complex
subcontracts
Knowledge of acquisition policies and procedures such as FAR / DFAR
Working knowledge of standard contract types
Experience with the procurement of specialized materials, complex assemblies, and equipment within the defense industry
Project Leadership experience and willingness
to mentor colleagues
Project and Risk management experience
Security Clearance Statement: This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.

Ability to Work Remotely: Part-time Remote Telework: The employee selected for this position will work part of their work schedule remotely and part of their work schedule at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. The specific weekly schedule will be discussed during the hiring process.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
