Description: You will be the Manufacturing Planner for the PAC-3 Production Planning & Control Sustainment. Our team is responsible for all sustainment parts for both missile and launcher maintenance. We work with the Depot in Dallas Texas along with the Camden, Arkansas (missile build) and Lufkin, Texas (Laucher build) sites.
What You Will Be Doing:
As the Manufacturing Planner, you will be responsible all parts needed for missile build-back. From loading the requirements to tracking parts with Global Sustainment and them from issue to installation of the part. In this role you will get to understand the missile build back process and visit the missile facilities in Camden, Arkansas and Lufkin, Texas. Your responsibilities will include:
Working in the Production, Planning and Control
organization as a Scheduler, Make, Buy or Bill of Materials (BOM) Planner.
Coordinating interdepartmental activity with quality assurance, manufacturing, purchasing, engineering, inventory control, traffic, contracts administration, etc.; schedules and expedites the movement of parts by means of move orders, stock transfers and requests for shipping orders.
Requires travel and/or communication to all sustainment sites and vendor locations.
Work outside of the normal operating hours may be required.
This position typically requires 3 years of professional experience
Basic Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree from an accredited college in a related discipline, or equivalent experience/combined education.
3+ years of professional experience
Ability to obtain a security clearance. An Interim Secret clearance is required prior to starting.
Experience with ERP (SAP, Oracle, etc.)
Possess knowledge of lean manufacturing
Demonstrate strong analytical, problem-solving,
and multitasking skills
Desired Skills:
Inventory Control and material handling knowledge
Experience with material requirements planning
Green Belt trained / certified
Ability to understand engineering drawings and parts lists
APICS Certified in Production and Inventory Management (CPIM) certification
Knowledge of Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) and/or Material Management and Accounting System (MMAS)
Security Clearance Statement: This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.

Ability to Work Remotely: Part-time Remote Telework: The employee selected for this position will work part of their work schedule remotely and part of their work schedule at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. The specific weekly schedule will be discussed during the hiring process.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
