OTA is seeking highly skilled Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) to provide comprehensive course instruction, development, and delivery for cyber and IT-related mission areas. This role involves designing, updating, and delivering training curricula, practical scenarios, and mission simulations across multiple formats, including in-residence, Mobile Training Teams (MTT), and Advanced Distributed Learning (ADL).
The ideal candidate will possess deep expertise in cyber operations, information systems security, Air Force cyber weapon systems, and related instructional areas. They will work closely with the Government to ensure the delivery of high-quality technical training to students, preparing them for real-world operations and cyber environments.
This position is contingent upon contract award.
Responsibilities
Plan, develop, update, and deliver Initial Qualification Training (IQT) and advanced instructional materials aligned with USCYBERCOM and 39 IOS operating instructions.
Create and teach courses on operating systems, network protocols, intrusion detection, and data analytics.
Integrate offensive and defensive cyber operations skill sets into training programs relevant to Air Force and Joint operations.
Instruct students across different environments, including classrooms, simulators, and online platforms (ADL).
Facilitate hands-on student training missions, scenario-based exercises, and mission simulations.
Deliver advanced instruction on tools and techniques to create effects in the information environment.
Provide training on the employment, maintenance, and security of Air Force cyber weapon systems.
Lead instruction on operational planning processes (in line with JP 5-0) and tactical mission planning.
Develop specialized content on cyber intelligence analysis, threat analysis, and penetration testing.
Coordinate instruction on the integration of Cyber Operations (CO), Information Operations (IO), and DoDIN Ops with weapons systems and non-cyber capabilities.
Provide instruction on operational planning for OIE Tactics, Techniques, and Procedures (TTPs) and related areas such as OPSEC, MILDEC, MISO, and PSYOP.
Prepare and provide all course materials in both digital and hard-copy formats (CDRL A001).
Ensure that training aligns with government standards and enhances the operational readiness of students.
Required Qualifications
Secret security clearance with SCI eligibility
Associates degree or equivalent experience
Minimum 3 years of cyber-related duties/experiences/roles
Experience in command line interface across various operating systems, host/network analysis, forensic analysis, scripting languages, terrain mapping, network fundamentals
Familiarity with cyberspace defense actions and USCYBERCOM mission
600+ instructor hours (on podium) or CCAF ISD Certification
IAT/M Level II
CSSP Certification*
