Job Description
Insight Global is looking for an Enterprise Architect to join a world-renowned database and cloud computing corporation. This person will be supporting the corporation's external telecommunications clients on federal projects and will be working alongside several cloud engineers and architects. We are seeking someone with strong infrastructure design and implementation experience and expertise in Vmware and infrastructure compliance. The focus of this team is to build out an on-prem data center that replicates the client environment as part of the discovery phase of their project. The team will then test tools and processes within the replica to evaluate and make suggestions for phase 2 of the project. The Enterprise Engineer will be responsible for the design of the data center, making Vmware and Security determinations, guide the engineers, and meet with stakeholders. This position can sit onsite in Dallas 3x/week or 90% remote in Pittsburgh, New Jersey, or Washington, DC.
Compensation:
$80/hr to $100/hr
Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education.
Benefit packages for this role will start on the 31st day of employment and include medical, dental, and vision insurance, as well as HSA, FSA, and DCFSA account options, and 401K retirement account access with employer matching. Employees in this role are also entitled to paid sick leave and/or other paid time off as provided by applicable law.

Skills and Requirements
8+ years of experience of infrastructure design and implementation
Experience with Vmware vSAN, knowledge of Vmware NSX, Vmware Sphere, and VMware Site Recovery Manager (SRM)
Understanding of securing virtualized environments, such as proper configuration of firewalls, encryption, and identity management.
Knowledge of industry compliance standards such as GDPR, HIPAA, PCI-DSS, and ability to design infrastructure that adheres to regulatory requirements.
Design and management of hybrid cloud environments
Deep understanding of HCI platforms, integrating compute, storage, and networking in a single system.
Must have, or be eligible to obtain a security clearance null
