As part of the Program Planning family, you will support the preparation and maintenance of program schedules and plans through effective relationship building and analyzing complex data to drive program execution. Our Program Planners are trusted partners and strategic advisors for our internal and external customers.

What You Will Be Doing
Supporting the Program Planning user community daily operations (including IMS and PSMS development/maintenance, SRA, EVMS, Critical Path/Driving Path, related tools access/troubleshooting
Representing and advocating for Program Planning as a liaison with IT
Presenting to Senior leadership on tool development/enhancements
Prioritizing Planning requests with IT resource constraints for mission success
Supporting and participating in negotiations with Senior leadership and internal stakeholders to determine priority
Formulating and recommending corrective action measures with schedule revisions, fund allocations, and work requirements
Ensuring the Program Planning tools are working properly and debugging issues the user community encounters
Implementing updates to the Program Planning tools due to internal/external required changes
For a level 3, we typically look for a Bachelors degree from an accredited college in a related discipline, or equivalent experience/combined education, with 6 years of professional experience; or 4 years of professional experience with a related Masters degree, or equivalent experience/combined education.

Basic Qualifications:
Proficient with Microsoft Office applications
Demonstrated critical thinking and problem-solving abilities
Experiences with networked schedules, integrity checks, and critical path methodology
Experiences with project management methodologies (Agile/Scrum/Waterfall)
Experiences delivering project briefings to stakeholders at varying levels with commensurate detail
Experiences with Schedule Performance Management Techniques, Earned Value Management
General understanding of IT processes, procedures, and implementation
Good interpersonal and communication skills with ability to build relationships
Working knowledge of coding languages (i.e. Python, C#, C++, SQL)
Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks and deliver results across multiple projects with multiple stakeholder groups simultaneously
Must be able to obtain a DoD security clearance Desired Skills:
Master's degree
6 or more years related experience in Program Planning, Program/Project Management, IT roles (Agile Project Management, Product Owner, Front End Development, Network/Systems Analyst)
Expertise in scrum, scale agile framework, kanban, scrumban, JIRA, Confluence
Experience as an IT consultant or similar role
Proficiency in Network scheduling tool (MS Project, Open Plan, Primavera, etc)
Integrated Master Schedule (IMS) development and maintenance
Production / Sustainment / Depot Operations
Previous experience as agile product owner or agile project manager
Programming or coding experiences (i.e. VBA, C#, SQL)
Understanding of IT infrastructure, network administration, cybersecurity, or cloud computing
Proposal development and submittal
Experience with the Schedule Risk Assessment process/tools
Ability to communicate utilizing different techniques across varying levels of leadership while building strong relationships
