We have an exciting opportunity for an epoxy group leads for our Advanced Products Center (APC) RF Products and Components Process Engineering team in McKinney, Texas. Our team is critical to the new factory success with our role installing new equipment, qualifying existing equipment after relocation, and executing process improvement projects.
What You Will Do:
We are the subject matter experts for processes and materials in Ultrathin, Parylene, and Spray Coatings. This is a hands-on role where every day is different and is a blend of leading a team and executing your own projects.
You will be responsible for your team's cross-functional collaboration with product engineers, quality engineers, reliability engineers, tooling engineers, industrial engineers, and operations leaders on product manufacturing.
This opportunity allows for working on cutting-edge automation and materials as well as mature production.
Team responsibilities include developing and implementing materials and processes, process improvements, and production support using statistical process control techniques, experimental designs, material analysis, mechanical design analysis, and root cause analysis.
Evaluation of materials, equipment, and processes (including qualification, acceptance testing, and specification development) will be required.

Key Responsibilities for the qualified candidate include:
Guiding a career development and technical execution of a team of multi-disciplined engineers, including planning and establishing goals and targets for team with direct impact to operational results of the department.

Effective cross-functional communication with equipment and material suppliers and program customers, both internal and external, to resolve critical issues that may be interfering with goals and schedules.

Developing and implementing materials and processes, process improvements, and equipment selection using established statistical process control techniques, experimental designs, material analysis, and mechanical design analysis to meet current and future business needs.

Leading analysis and evaluation of materials, equipment, and processes (including qualification, acceptance testing, and specification development).
Qualifications You Must Have:
Typically requires a Bachelor's Degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics (STEM), or equivalent experience with 8+ years of relevant experience
OR Advanced Degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics (STEM), or equivalent experience with 6+ years of relevant experience, or Associates Degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics (STEM), or equivalent experience with 10+ years of relevant experience.
Ability to obtain a U.S. government issued security clearance. U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.
Qualifications We Prefer:
Understands basic management approaches such as work scheduling, prioritizing, coaching and process execution.
Typically requires specialized knowledge of technical or operational practices
Demonstrated problem solving and process control experience with data-driven approaches such as Design of Experiments (DOE) and Statistical Process Control (SPC)
Process development and qualification experience
Previous demonstrated leadership or mentoring experience
Experience working effectively within a team environment.
Working Knowledge of the IPC-CC-830 standard

The salary range for this role is 96,000 USD - 200,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate's work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
